Donald Trump’s “Salute To America” event, which is code for “all hail Donald Trump” was an absolute disaster. Mother Nature did us all a solid and absolutely poured all over his party. So everything was seriously delayed, the crowd was way smaller than expected, the streets were empty, the seats were empty, and even his own wife could barely keep her eyes open through Donald’s painful monologue. Literally, the crowd was so dreadful that the White House ultimately cut their live webcam feed of the event and took it down from the website in an effort to avoid further humiliation.
But unsurprisingly enough, the horrible turnout and the absolute clusterfuck that ultimately was Trump’s shindig did nothing to stanch the habitual liar and egotistical prick from taking to his trusty, dusty twitter account and boasting about his “tremendous crowds.”
Trump posted a photo on his social media account with the caption, “A great crowd of tremendous Patriots this evening, all the way back to the Washington Monument! #SaluteToAmerica”

The rest of the Twitter universe quickly did their duty and absolutely roasted the president for trying to perpetuate the lie of massive crowds and spectacular turnouts when many of them had picture proof of otherwise:
You liar. Only the front half of the photo is your rally. The back part with the crowd is the 2008 concert at the mall.

We’re not even surprised. We all know he’s a big, fat lying liar at this point. But it still never fails to make our eyes go a little crooked with he lies about something that’s so painfully obvious and so easily bust-able. But you just go ahead and keep telling yourself that, Donald. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
