Former Trump Employee Claims POTUS Will “Leave Office, Resign, Or Make Some Kind Of Deal” To Avoid Being Impeached

I really hope this is true.

Ever since House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the House Democrats’ formal impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump for his shady extortion call with Ukraine, folks across the country and around the globe alike have been wondering what Trump’s ultimate course of action was going to be.

So far, it seems as though he’s chosen the “lose what little bit of your damn mind you have left” route — sending out an overabundance of hairbrained, manic tweets and going off on multiple unhinged and frantic public rants.

He’s always been on the crazy side but in the wake of his impending punishment and subsequent removal from his self-made dictator post he’s really taking matters that extra step into certifiable.

But one former Trump insider seems to believe that Donald will ultimately be taking a different path before this whole fiasco is said and done.

Former Trump Organization Vice President Barbara Res recently appeared on CNN where she admitted that she actually expects Trump to resign in the end in a last-ditch attempt to save face.

Reports have already been swirling alleging that Donald has told insiders that he doesn’t want impeachment on his “resume” and it seems that he’s beginning to understand what a real possibility that truly is.

CNN host Brian Stelter asked Res if she believes that Donald is “unfit for office.”

“I do yes,” the former insider confessed. “But I thought that when he was running and not necessarily for the mental reasons that they talk about, but because he didn’t have the experience. Lots of different things.”

Stelter went on to ask Res how she saw this whole impeachment debacle ending and she claimed that she sees Trump either resigning or taking a deal to avoid actually being branded by impeachment.

“I think that he does a lot of things to save face,” she stated. “I could give you examples, but we don’t have time. But there are some things he can’t control and he’s not at the point where he can control this, he can’t do anything about this.”

“It would be very, very, very bad for him to be impeached,” Res continued to explain. “I don’t know that he would be found guilty, but I don’t think he wants to be impeached. I think that’s what this panic is about. My gut tells me he’ll leave office, he’ll resign, or make a deal even, depending on what comes out.”

Do I honestly think that Trump’s ego could deflate long enough for him to actually admit defeat and bow out? Well, I don’t have my hopes up. And furthermore, I definitely don’t think he’s deserving of any deals. The man should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

But nevertheless, it should be interesting to see how this plays out.
