Here lately, Fox News hasn’t been doing such a good job at ensuring that their dictator-in-chief is being painted in the most flattering light possible on their network — leaving Donald extremely triggered over the fact that his beloved safe space maybe isn’t so safe anymore.
Sometimes this is the network’s “fault”, like when they reported on the true numbers reflected by recent 2020 polls instead of Donald’s version of the numbers like he wanted them to. And other times the situation is kind of out of their hands, like recently when a bar full of French patrons chanted “Fuck Trump!” in a Fox News segment after Megan Rapinoe’s soccer team took home the World Cup.
But either way, it doesn’t much matter to Trump. Whether it’s their fault or not, he gets quite testy when he feels that they may be double-crossing him.
After the debacle that was the France segment, the Trumpster was big mad, and he took to his second most beloved safe space, Twitter, to let us all know about it in a series of what can only be described as downright deranged tweets:
“Watching @FoxNews weekend anchors is worse than watching low ratings Fake News @CNN, or Lyin’ Brian Williams (remember when he totally fabricated a War Story trying to make himself into a hero, & got fired. A very dishonest journalist!) and the crew of degenerate…” Trump’s first tweet, letting the Twitter-sphere know how angry he really is, began.
“Comcast (NBC/MSNBC) Trump haters, who do whatever Brian & Steve tell them to do. Like CNN, NBC is also way down in the ratings. But @FoxNews, who failed in getting the very BORING Dem debates, is now loading up with Democrats & even using Fake unsourced @nytimes as…” the second installment read.
“…a “source” of information (ask the Times what they paid for the Boston Globe, & what they sold it for (lost 1.5 Billion Dollars), or their old headquarters building disaster, or their unfunded liability? @FoxNews is changing fast, but they forgot the people who got them there!” Donald wrapped up, no doubt absolutely fuming at this point.
