Donald Trump holds a reigning record of the most turnarounds during a presidential term — and really, who can blame these people? Common sense says to get as far away from that dumpster fire as possible. And it seems that Donald’s “exoneration” in the wake of the Mueller report is not slowing things down. In fact, it appears that even more of his administration is either turning n him or simply walking away from the situation altogether. Even those that were never seemingly wrapped up in the scandal, to begin with.
The most recent to distant themselves from the Trump administration is Administrator of the US Small Business Administration, Linda McMahon — one of the very few female members of Trump’s cabinet.
McMahon, the billionaire, business executive, and co-founder of World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. “is planning to announce as soon as Friday that she’s stepping down,” according to reports from Politico. While the exact reason for McMahon’s sudden departure is still unclear, it’s speculated that she intends to return to the private sector.
Politico reported:
McMahon, who has known Trump for years, has kept a relatively low profile at SBA. Unlike other Trump administration Cabinet officials, she has not been dogged by scandal. Inside the White House, she’s seen as a loyal foot soldier. She regularly travels around the country to promote the president’s agenda, including recent trips to promote the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal.”
Brooke Singman of Fox News has also verified that Linda will not be rejoining Trump’s 2020 campaign for reelection.

While her motives still haven’t been verified, it’s already pretty clear that McMahon seemingly wants to distance herself from the mess that is the Trump administration. And it appears she wants to do so sooner than later. McMahon has been one of the few members of the Trump admin that hasn’t been wrapped up in the Russia scandal. It looks like she wants to keep it that way.
