If somehow you were still on the fence about whether or not Donald Trump is a narcissistic douchebag, try this on for size. According to new reports stemming from Donald’s recent exclusive interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, he has so little compassion or understanding for even his closest of friends or aides that he actually got pissed off and threw his chief of staff out of the Oval Office — all because he was coughing.
Trump was attempting to bullshit his way through Stephanopoulos’ question about his financial records when he suddenly stopped the interview and angrily asked to do another take because his top aide, White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, was coughing through his answer.
“And let’s do that over, he’s coughing in the middle of my answer,” Trump fumed at the ABC News interviewer.
“I don’t like that, you know, I don’t like that,” Donald continued to complain in reference to Mulvaney’s coughing.
“Your chief of staff,” George attempted to clarify.
“If you’re going to cough, please leave the room. You just can’t, you just can’t cough. Boy oh boy,” Trump continued to bemoan.
Once his little temper tantrum was over, Donald went on to answer Stephanopoulos’ question by stating that he wanted people to see his “financial statement” as it’s “phenomenal.”
But quickly went on to cover his own tracks by stating that the decision is ultimately “not up to me, it’s up to lawyers.”
It really is a true display of pure egotism and disregard for anyone but himself for Trump to actually get legitimately pissed off, stop an interview in its tracks, and demand that one of his top aides and confidants leave the room all because they were coughing. God forbid some of his bullshit were to get drowned out, right?
