Donald Trump is panicking. Throughout his presidency, it’s become extremely obvious that the more the president defends himself, the more guilty and nervous he is. That’s why when the president bragged about how Attorney General William Barr’s redacted version of the Mueller report exonerated him, he was met with more resistance than he could handle. And now, the president is actively gaslighting the country and bragging about how he can’t be impeached.
Today, Trump posted on Twitter about “high crimes and misdemeanors,” claiming that he was innocent. He tweeted:
Only high crimes and misdemeanors can lead to impeachment. There were no crimes by me (No Collusion, No Obstruction), so you can’t impeach. It was the Democrats that committed the crimes, not your Republican President! Tables are finally turning on the Witch Hunt!

First of all, no one believes this man is innocent. Even many of the president’s own supporters believe he’s done something wrong. Not to mention, the president conveniently left out treason and bribery, which is called out in Article Two of the United States Constitution:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
We all know that Trump has never read the Constitution, and is also too stupid to realize that the Mueller report didn’t exonerate him at all. Needless to say, the president’s tweet got the opposite reaction of what he had hoped, and the response was brutal:
sounds like you’re trying to convince yourself here
tick tock sweetheart

So your response to murmurs of impeachment is to lie about the findings of the report and then investigate your political opponents?
Is that what you are going with?
This should be a nice exhibit for your impeachment proceedings!

That’s not how any of this works, dotard. Nice try though.

From Article 1 of impeachment of Clinton: “William Jefferson Clinton has undermined the integrity of his office, has brought disrepute on the Presidency, has betrayed his trust as President and has acted in a manner subversive of the rule of law and justice” Trump has done Worse!

Actually I would refer you to Volume 2, page 154 of report -it’s clear Mueller found you committed witness intimidation and obstruction of justice in your public attacks on Michael Cohen and his father in law which Mueller noted were intended “discourage” Cohen from cooperating: pic.twitter.com/Us1rt1kg10

The #MuellerReport clearly stated: “If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that @realDonaldTrump clearly did not commit #ObstructionOfJustice, we would so state.”
The *only* reason Trump wasn’t charged is b/c he’s in office.🙄https://t.co/j8Tkdnav2r

When the president has to deny impeachment charges, he’s losing. https://t.co/NWrfXlx8Cz
