For quite a while, many questioned Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s commitment to the cause, as she seemed so wishy-washy when it came to impeaching Trump. However, now that she’s finally moved forward with impeaching the orange shitgibbon, she’s unstoppable.
Kevin McCarthy sent a letter to Pelosi earlier asking her to stop the impeachment inquiry into Trump’s corruption. He wrote:
I am writing to request you suspend all efforts surrounding your “impeachment inquiry” until transparent and equitable rules and procedures are established to govern the inquiry, as is customary.”

It’s basically nothing but the usual mumbo jumbo bullshit rhetoric a Republican would send in hopes of actually halting the process of democracy. However, McCarthy ought to have known better, as Pelosi responded to McCarthy’s letter with an extra dose of shame and reality.
She wrote:
I received your letter this morning shortly after the world witnessed President Trump on national television asking yet another foreign power to interfere in the upcoming 2020 elections.”
BOOM SHAKALAKA. SOMEONE CALL A DOCTAH’.
But really, McCarthy probably sent the letter before Trump asked China on live television to investigate Joe Biden, a 2020 Democratic frontrunner. How could he know Trump would admit his guilt on live television by asking a foreign power to help him win the 2020 election?
This wasn’t just a phonecall witnessed by only a handful of people. This was, quite literally, live on air and said to actual reporters. He said:
Likewise, China should start an investigation into the Bidens. Because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine.”
Considering we have a trade war going on with China, this wasn’t the best thing to really throw at China. What’s even worse is that Trump said this after his plea to China:
I have a lot of options in China, but if they don’t do what we want, we have tremendous power.”
Okay, Republicans. Justify that one because unless you guys can pull a rabbit out of your ass, baby hands just admitted his guilt, live, on-air, for millions to see and rewatch over and over.
