Mitch McConnell better hope to God that the Russians are willing to give him the Donald Trump treatment next year because otherwise, he is likely to be seeing his way out of Congress very soon. Every time he turns around he’s met with protests from either American citizens who are sick and tired of watching him completely ignore each and every Democratic effort that the House tries to pass, all while he kisses Donald’s ass so hard it’s a wonder his lips aren’t chapped, or from Kentucky citizens who are unfortunate enough (myself included) to be subjected to his fuckery on a state level as one of his constituents.
Despite the fact that McConnell likes to claim that he’s not bothered by the relentless demonstrations against him, saying that he “will not be intimidated,” I’d like to remind him that his level of intimidation will mean jack shit at the polls.
Everyone is sick of him. And I do mean everyone. In case the billboards, demonstrations, protests, and speeches from his fellow congress members weren’t enough to convince Mitch that his turtle-y time in Congress in almost up — we’re hoping that a word from Madam House Speaker Nancy Pelosi herself will do the trick. And if it doesn’t, well, we’re still going to get a good laugh out of it either way.
During a speaking engagement at the Illinois Democratic County Chairs’ Association, Pelosi took the opportunity to inform everyone there of just exactly how she feels about Mitch McConnell — dubbing him with the “Moscow Mitch” nickname that’s been so popular as of late.
“Moscow Mitch says that he is the Grim Reaper,” Nancy stated to the crowd, eliciting laughter. “Imagine describing yourself as the ‘Grim Reaper.'”
“He’s going to bury all this legislation,” she continued. “Well, we have news for him. All this legislation is alive and well in the general public.”
Someone get this woman a “Moscow Mitch” t-shirt already.
