House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is confident in her ability to overthrow Trump and his administration. She’s made that pretty clear thus far by cutting them off at the knees at every opportunity she gets. In her latest move, Pelosi is guaranteeing that Democrats will “overwhelm” Republicans with a glorious win in 2020 — with the intent to have their entire gameplan mapped out by November 2019.
Pelosi recently did an interview with the Washington Post where she stated that she’s “going to have our races won by this November.”
Pelosi took this opportunity to reflect back on her last term as the House Speaker, noting what she had done wrong back then and what she’s learned from her previous experience to help her move forward in the future.
“You cannot let your opponents characterize — mischaracterize — what you’re about,” Pelosi stated. “So, what was missing from that was a strong messaging piece, and that’s what we had in this last election.”
When speaking with the Post, House Speaker Pelosi said that, in retrospect, she should have put together a Democratic push back against the GOP’s attacks on the Affordable Care Act.
“I was in this office, but I didn’t — I didn’t — relish being Speaker. I relished the power of legislative accomplishments,” Pelosi said. “I didn’t see a public role.”
The report stated that Democratic leadership “is particularly pushing the freshmen running their first reelection to raise as much money as possible” and encouraging intimidated occupants to hold their positions in town halls.
Pelosi addressed Republicans stating, “We fully intend to win this election, and some of you are vulnerable. It’s going to cost you millions of dollars, to win or lose. And if you win — say you win — you’re in the minority, probably want to teach at the university.”
“So we get the A-team, and they get the retirements,” Pelosi ended. “That’s my plan.”
Pelosi has left no doubt that she means business and fully intends to clean the schmear of Donald Trump from our nation.
