If you were to ask Donald Trump — though really, you don’t even have to ask, he’s going to tell you — he, along with the rest of his administration, would tell you that he’s got 2020 in the bag. But if you were to actually take a look at any of the recent polls, Donald ain’t doing so hot.
People are getting more than tired of his bullshit. But after a recent report from the New York Times where they found that Trump had ordered aides to outright lie about his poor performance in internal polls, a new poll from Quinnipiac University shows Donald’s numbers taking an even steeper nosedive — which shows Trump coming up on the short end of the stick against six different Democratic candidates.
As soon as Donald caught wind of the new polling, he fell back on his age-old misleading techniques, hoping to convince the public that the polls were”fake news” concocted by the far-left media in a conspiracy to derail his 2020 reelection campaign.
“The Fake News has never been more dishonest than it is today,” Trump’s tweet read. “Thank goodness we can fight back on Social Media. Their new weapon of choice is Fake Polling, sometimes referred to as Suppression Polls (they suppress the numbers). Had it in 2016, but this is worse.”
“The Fake (Corrupt) News Media said they had a leak into polling done by my campaign which, by the way and despite the phony and never ending Witch Hunt, are the best numbers WE have ever had,” Donald continued to whine in a second tweet. “They reported Fake numbers that they made up & don’t even exist. WE WILL WIN AGAIN!”
