William Barr Just Sent Major Message Regarding Mueller Report, Dares House Democrats To Impeach Him

If that's how they want to play it...

For someone so staunchly protecting the president, Attorney General Bill Barr just threw down the gauntlet when it comes to the Democrats and impeachment proceedings. In what was most likely an attempt to get them to back off of the Mueller report, Barr essentially just dared Democrats to get the ball rolling when it comes to booting Donald Trump out of his presidency.

House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) moved quickly to subpoena the full, unredacted version of the Mueller report the say after Bill Barr attempted to lead Congress and this country down a skewed, conservative rabbit hole and promote his own narrative of the findings before anyone even has a chance to read it.

But instead of honoring the Congressional subpoena, Barr replied to Nadler with a letter stating that a “legal basis” must be established for the request — basically meaning they would have to start an impeachment inquiry.

Barr even went on to tease Trump’s critics by blatantly admitting that the president is the subject of over two dozen ongoing criminal cases and investigations as a direct result of the Mueller report. Writing:

Former federal prosecutor and Pace University School of Law professor Mimi Rocah stated, “The Trump Administration is trying to box the Democrats in, to get them to make a decision about the formal process of impeachment. They know that it could cause dissension because some people in the party want impeachment and others do not want to start the formal process.”

Rocah is one of the over 400 former federal prosecutors that signed an open letter to the DOJ stating that Trump would most certainly be charged with obstruction of justice as a result of the Mueller report — were he not the president.

Nadler sent an ultimatum to Barr last Friday that demanded the unredacted report by today with a penalty of contempt of Congress if it was not delivered.

Today, the House set a vote for those charges against Barr, which will take place on Wednesday. If charged, it could lead to an appointment of a new Attorney General, which would be the best thing for this country. If Donald loses his “fixer,” he’ll lose everything.
