After enduring over two years of Donald Trump’s disastrous start to his presidency (which is without a doubt the LONGEST term America is going to have to suffer through), it’s hard to imagine that Americans could possibly be more humiliated than we already are. Unfortunately, it seems like we are always underestimating what the Trump administration is actually capable of.
Today, anyone living in the United States would once again lose faith in humanity – and this time might be one of the worst instances of a Trump-ified White House yet. Twitter users were horrified today to witness the official, verified White House Twitter account tweet out a photograph of Trump actually hugging a flag – which is something that NO government should do if it ever wants to be taken seriously again.
Just last weekend, Trump groped the U.S. flag before making Americans suffer through an unhinged two hour speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference. Unfortunately, this moment was caught on camera, and Trump’s White House tried to memorialize it by tweeting it out for all to see:

It cannot possibly get any worse than this. To say people were traumatized is an understatement. Just look at the reactions on Twitter:
This is coming from the VERIFIED White House account?

Sir, this is the police! Step away from the flag!

How disappointing. There is just no bottom to this circus.

Holy fuck this is the real White House and not the rogue White House. God you all are embarrassing.

Omg, I was sure this was a parody account

My guess is “The Onion” can close up shop and call it a day, because reality is way, way weirder than any parody account. 🙄

There is no coming back from this.
