The bombshells just keep coming thanks to the corruption and dysfunction going on in Donald Trump’s White House. Yesterday, it was the memos from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, stating that Trump had committed a felony (which the president denied and ignored), and today it’s the announcement that Trump’s Chief of Staff, John Kelly, is leaving the White House.
Kelly and Trump had been at odds for a while, so this news is no surprise. However, the timing of Kelly’s departure right after the problematic memo is certainly telling. But regardless of what it means, we all know that the Trump administration has the fastest revolving door we’ve ever seen in an administration, despite the fact that the president has criticized his predecessor for this in the past.
Now that Kelly is leaving, one of Trump’s old tweets have surfaced, and it couldn’t come at a worse time for him. In the tweet from January 2012, Trump blasted former president Barack Obama when his Chief of Staff, Bill Daley, left. Trump tweeted:
3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can’t manage to pass his agenda.”

Ironically enough, Trump is now set to have three chiefs of staff in even less time than Obama. Noting this beautiful moment in which karma clearly intervened, people shared this tweet far and wide, remarking how Trump’s own tweets always come back to bite him in the a*s. Here are just a few reactions:
it really is amazing how there always is a tweet https://t.co/efGDGcLyCv
