Trump’s Latest Tweet Shows He Did Watch Mueller Testimony Even Though He Said He Wouldn’t

We all know he's sweating buckets right about now.

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller is facing Congress as we speak, giving his testimony regarding his 448-page report in which he outlined the findings of his 2-plus year investigation into Donald Trump’s possible collusion with the Russian government to rig the 2016 presidential election as well as the subsequent obstruction of justice committed by Trump and his administration during Mueller’s investigation attempts.

Of course, this whole ordeal has sent President Trump into a downward spiral over the last few days, made clearly evident through his Twitter account on which he has relentlessly bashed the former special counsel and continued to tout his claims of “No collusion! No obstruction!” despite the fact that, from the very beginning, Mueller’s report has indicated the exact opposite.

Donald has insisted that he would not be watching Robert Mueller’s testimony, yet his schedule is completely empty today save a campaign rally he’ll later be flying out to in Wheeling, West Virginia. And lo and behold, Donald’s Twitter habits betrayed him once again today as he sent out a social media post indicating that he is, in fact, glued to the former special counsel’s testimony  — no doubt wading through some pretty high anxiety, hanging onto every word from the former special counsel’s mouth, hoping that it wouldn’t be the one to finally bury him for his transgressions.

During a break in Muller’s testimony, Donald took to his Twitter account to post a quote from Fox News anchor Chris Wallace regarding the hearing:

“This has been a disaster for the Democrats and a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller.” Chris Wallace @FoxNews,” Trump’s tweet read.

Twitter users couldn’t ignore the timing of Donald’s social media outburst, pointing out the fact that Trump would virtually have to be watching the hearing after all:

Trust me, Trump. No one was naive enough to believe that your eyeballs wouldn’t be glued to the TV the entire time, hoping that you’re not going to jail today.
