Sarah Sanders Returns To Defend Trump During Mueller Testimony, Says He’s Been Vindicated

Could someone tell her to stop now? Trump isn't signing any more paychecks.

Former Press Secretary Sarah Sanders may have left the Trump administration, but you were a fool if you believed she’d keep her lying mouth shut once she made it back to Arkansas.

It’s true that Sander is no longer a part of Trump’s White House crew, ultimately having been replaced by Melania Trump’s senior aide Stephanie Grisham, but she’s still as big a Trump champion as she ever was — and now she gets to lie her cold little heart out with no chances of repercussions or threats to her job.

And lie she did, my friends.

The entire Trump administration, past and present it seems, are waiting with bated breath to see what turns up from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s testimony to Congress in which he will be explaining the findings outlined in his 448-page report regarding his investigation into Donald Trump and his administration’s possible collusion with the Russian government to sway the 2016 presidential election as well as the subsequent obstruction of justice committed by the president and members of his White House.

But, of course, Trump officials are doing what they’ve always done — twisting the narrative to appear in their favor despite the fact that Mueller has essentially admitted that Trump is guilty and should be charged as soon as he is no longer protected by the DOJ rule stating that a sitting president cannot be indicted.

And it seems that Sarah Sanders, in spite of her departure from the Trump administration, just could not pass up the chance to join in on that narrative through her Twitter account.

“Didn’t take long for Mueller to once again vindicate President @realDonaldTrump. No collusion. No obstruction. And now Mueller all but admits it was all along a total witch hunt,” Sanders’ tweet read along with a video clip originally shared by the Trump campaign showing Rep. John Ratcliffe asking Mueller if he could recall another instance where the Justice Department “determined that an investigated person was not exonerated because their innocence was not conclusively determined.”

To which Mueller replied, “I cannot, but this is a unique situation.”

“What’s been clear to all but the liberal media is this was a partisan investigation run by Democrats out to destroy @realDonaldTrump with Mueller as the figurehead. Thank you House Democrats for calling today’s hearing and exposing the truth for all Americans to see,” Sanders stated in a follow-up tweet.

As expected, Twitter had lots of thoughts in regards to Sanders’ flashy comeback:

Keep your bullshit in Arkansas, ok? Thanks.
