Donald Trump is pretty horrific in terms of his treatment of fellow human beings — and he might be just as bad with animals. Trump has no idea how to approach any situation appropriately, and he proved that to the entire country during his encounter with a horse today at the White House.
It’s unclear if Trump has ever had any interactions with a horse prior to this incident, but either way, the president had no idea how to behave or what to do with himself. As Trump was greeted with the horse-drawn carriage bringing the official White House Christmas Tree to the White House, the president spent an uncomfortable amount of time petting one of the horses — and you can probably guess where.
The President of the United States — the man who bragged about sexually assaulting women and grabbing them by the p*ssy — approached one of the horses and started stroking its rear end with his tiny hand in a very disturbing way. Unfortunately, this was caught on camera, assuring America that literally no human (or animal) is safe when Trump is around.

These short-lived moments are the only relief we get from Trump’s dark, terrifying presidency. Although sadly, we can’t say the same for the horse.
