After a long weekend following the Thanksgiving holiday, President Donald Trump obviously had way too much time on his hands while he watched television all weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The Tweeter in Chief was back at it again this morning, fear-mongering about immigrants and the caravan among many other things.
But things took a turn for the worse as Trump’s own mania caused him to make a fatal mistake — the president launched a personal, vicious attack against Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Trump tweeted:
When Mueller does his final report, will he be covering all of his conflicts of interest in a preamble, will he be recommending action on all of the crimes of many kinds from those ‘on the other side’ (whatever happened to Podesta?), and will he be putting in statements from hundreds of people closely involved with my campaign who never met, saw or spoke to a Russian during this period? So many campaign workers, people inside from the beginning, ask me why they have not been called (they want to be). There was NO Collusion & Mueller knows it!”

Even Trump’s most dense followers would be able to tell the president that attacking the man who has sent multiple members of his inner circle to prison is a bad idea. Not to mention, the fact that Trump is attacking Mueller for “conflicts of interest” is hilarious because no one has more of those than the president himself. Trump truly has zero self awareness and his own insanity is putting him in a ton of danger in his own investigation.
Time and time again, Trump has proven to be his own worst enemy.
