Donald Trump is celebrating Labor Day by not doing ANY work and tweeting from the golf course — which wouldn’t necessarily be a big deal since many Americans have the holiday off. Except for the fact that this is how Trump has spent a great portion of his presidency: Playing golf, tweeting, and not doing a damn thing for the country. Every other day is pretty much a non-working holiday for the president!
As the president is reportedly spending the Labor Day Weekend on the golf course, Trump somehow found time to tweet nonsense about how American workers are so much better off under his “leadership.” The Donald tweeted:

The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade Deals ever made by any country in the world. Big progress being made! The Worker in America is doing better than ever before. Celebrate Labor Day!”

Of course, those tweets singlehandedly ruined Labor Day for any American who has been paying attention to the news. Just a few days ago, it was reported that Trump was denying federal workers pre-scheduled pay raises (right after giving billionaires a major tax break). Trump said the pay raises were “inappropriate” in the case of “national emergency or serious economic conditions affecting general welfare.” Trump got loads of backlash for this and tried to do damage control by saying he was “going to be doing a little work over the weekend” and “studying” federal worker pay. When is he going to do that — between rounds of golf?
Americans aren’t being fooled, and now they’re spending Labor Day being p*ssed off:

But disrespecting American workers on Labor Day is just an annual tradition for Trump now. Last year, he infuriated American workers by golfing the entire weekend and not even having the decency to post a Labor Day message at all. Trump literally did ZERO work on Labor Day 2017, when many Americans could barely afford to take off from work or use their sick and vacation time.
Trump does NOT care about American workers, and no one should be fooled by his dishonest tweets. Any Trump supporter who still thinks the president cares about American workers is in for a harsh reality check.
