Donald Trump has been an extremely unstable individual since day one. The state of his mental health and the effect that it can have and has had on our country has been such a cause for concern that multiple mental health experts have called it into question numerous times over the past two and a half years.
But Trump is about to be impeached now. For real. There is no turning back the clock. There is no number of phone calls to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that will save his ass from the inevitable now. His dealings with Ukraine, in which he attempted to extort the country into giving him dirt on his Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, for his own personal political gain by withholding military aid and funding from the country until they agreed to do as he requested has finally served as the last nail in the coffin of Donald Trump’s scandal-filled presidency.
He is done. And folks, he knows it.
We expected some hairbrained tweets in the wake of Madame Speaker Pelosi’s formal impeachment inquiry announcement. The man struggles to stay off Twitter and keep his manic rants to himself when he’s not about to be tossed out of the White House on his ass.
But he’s officially going to new extremes now in a desperate attempt to call on the American people to save him from something they don’t even have any say so in.
This morning, after a long series of various retweets in which he attempted to prove that some people out there still like him, Donald penned an original post — and the blatant desperation was downright pathetic.
“THE DEMOCRATS ARE TRYING TO DESTROY THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND ALL THAT IT STANDS FOR. STICK TOGETHER, PLAY THEIR GAME, AND FIGHT HARD REPUBLICANS. OUR COUNTRY IS AT STAKE!” Trump’s tweet read. And yes, it was in all caps.Â

Of course, he chose to fall back on his typical thinly-veiled threat to American citizens in the process. Essentially claiming that horrible things would happen to us all if we didn’t do what he wants.
But frankly, Donald, it’s not up to us. If it were, you’d have been out of there before you ever got started. This is up to Congress. And you know as well as we do, no amount of tweeting will save you now — you’re fucked.
