If you’ve paid any attention at all to Donald Trump’s Twitter feed lately, you’d know that in the midst of (still) pitching a fit about the Mueller report and Congress’ investigations, he’s pretty damn vexed at firefighters, as well.
Of course, the 2020 election is slowly creeping up on us — THANK GOD — and Donald is pretty clearly nervous about the whole ordeal. There are literally dozens of kick-ass Democratic candidates running against him, and he can’t stand the thought of being challenged. Or worse yet, losing.
Some of the candidates he doesn’t seem to be too concerned with, yet. But Lord knows he’s been burning Twitter up over a certain few — with Joe Biden’s recent bid seemingly being his biggest source of consternation. Which is why he’s spent the past few days dragging the absolute hell out of the firefighter’s union for announcing their alliance with the Biden campaign.
His tweets in response to the union’s Democratic endorsement were pretty typical Trumpian behavior:

And in another pretty typical move for the Trumpster, he took to Twitter today whistling an entirely different tune.
May 4th is International Firefighters Day and Donald did what Donald does best — completely ignored the fact that he just threw a tantrum befitting of a 3-year-old and sang his praises for the very ones he’s just spent the last 72 hours berating and bullying.
“Today, May 4th – is International Firefighters Day! We remember all of those who put their lives on the line to save others, and are grateful to those who continue to do so 24/7/365. We love our great firefighters, thank you! #ThankAFirefighter,” Trump’s tweet read.
