Donald Trump’s latest scandal involving the president of Ukraine, a shady deal for information on former Vice President and Democratic 2020 candidate Joe Biden, and a very concerned whistleblower’s complaint, has finally blown up in his face.
Donald Trump is finally on the fast track to impeachment per an announcement from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi last night, in which she addressed this nation along with the entire world and made it clear that even Trump himself is not above the law — and quite frankly, it’s about damn time.
Of course, this newest move by the House of Representatives has sent Donald on a quick downward spiral of epic proportions. His Twitter account has been worthy of a 72-hour hold in a mental institution, he’s suddenly released a supposed transcript of the phone call with Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky that frankly has done him more harm than good, and he’s even reportedly reached out to Madame Speaker herself in a desperate attempt to make this whole thing go away before Jeffrey Epstein isn’t the only thing he has in common with Bill Clinton.
But the thing about Donald Trump is, no matter how much hot water he finds himself in, he’s far too damn arrogant to actually stop doing the things that are about to get him impeached.
Which is why we’re honestly not even surprised that, in the wake of such a massive scandal, Trump is still meeting with Ukraine’s president.
The only difference this time is the fact that he seemingly tried to hide it.
Trump and Zelensky apparently met up last night while they were both in attendance at the United Nations. Typically, this is something that Donald would be bragging about from every rooftop from Manhattan to DC. However, this time, Trump himself was uncharacteristically quiet about the little get-together.
Funnily enough, though, Zelensky was not.
The Ukranian president took to his own Twitter account this morning and posted a snapshot of himself along with his wife Olena standing beside Donald and Melania Trump with a caption that stated the two “talked” at the UN reception last night.

According to a report from the Washington Post, the two world leaders will continue to be in talks today, no doubt with the scandalous phone call on the table.
It’s pretty clear that Donald wasn’t particularly chomping at the bit to disclose this specific meeting with a fellow world leader. But it seems that Zelensky didn’t mind at all to do it for him. After all, he’s not the one about to be impeached.
