Trump Makes A Fool Out Of Himself During NRA Convention, Smears His Own Justice Department

When did this turn into a campaign speech?!

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence made an appearance at the National Rifle Association Convention today as we all waited with bated breath for him to make a complete ass of himself. Thankfully, it didn’t take long.

In Donald’s speech to the NRA crowd, he lectured about God and Second Amendment rights for a while. But he quickly took a sharp turn, dragging the FBI and his own Department of Justice — the very same department that has been saving and continues to save his ass in the midst of the Mueller report — and claimed that he defeated their staged “coup” without even using a gun.

He never specifically mentioned Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation or mentioned anyone by name, but it didn’t take long before his speech about gun rights turned into a speech not dissimilar to his campaign rallies, rambling on about his perceived victimhood and subsequent vindication.

“Every day of my administration, we are taking power out of Washington, D.C., and returning it to the American people where it belongs,” Trump stated to rounds of applause. “You see it now, better than ever. With all of the resignations of bad apples. They are bad apples. They tried for a coup, didn’t work out so well.”

“And I didn’t need a gun for that one, did I?” POTUS said with his signature shit-eating smirk. He then proceeded to launch into a long-winded attack on our government.

“All of this was taking place at the highest levels in Washington, D.C,” Donald claimed. “You’ve been watching, you’ve been seeing. You’ve been looking at things that you wouldn’t have believed possible in our country. Corruption at the highest level. A disgrace. Spying, surveillance. Trying for an overthrow. And we caught them — we caught them.”

To another round of applause from gun-toting ‘Muricans, Trump asked, “Who would have thought in our country?”

We shouldn’t be surprised, considering Trump’s uncanny ability to turn absolutely any speaking engagement into a campaign speech. But yet, here we are — still dumbfounded at how amazingly stupid the man really is.
