Trump Hosts Clemson Players At White House With “Great American” Fast Food, The Video Is So Embarrassing

Thanks to Donald Trump, the reputation of America will likely never recover. Trump is doing everything in his power to “Trumpify” every aspect of this country, and he just did something that we truly hope no country will ever see (although they probably already have).

As Trump hosted Clemson players at the White House today to celebrate their national championship win, he treated the football team to an “American” meal — of fast food. Clearly oblivious that high performing athletes probably give their bodies nutrients and real food, the president honored the team with McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, and pizza. In other words, Trump’s everyday diet (although we wonder if the president was willing to share his Diet Coke with the team). Trump said:

I think that would be their favorite food, so we’ll see what happens.”

As usual, Twitter blew up. The Washington Post’s Josh Dawsey reported that Trump actually paid for the meal himself thanks to his government shutdown. Dawsey stated that White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said, “much of the residence staff at the White House is furloughed – so the President is personally paying for the event to be catered with some of everyone’s favorite fast foods.”

The White House pool report stated Trump liked this food because apparently cheap, unhealthy food screams “American” to him. Trump said, “if it’s American, I like it. It’s all American stuff.”

White House reporters could not believe their eyes. In the photographs from the event, we see Big Macs and other fast food items being served alongside golden candlesticks, White House china, and silver platters. Truly a sight to behold.
