Recently Megan Rapinoe, co-captain of a U.S. women’s national soccer team, publicly humiliated Donald Trump when a video went viral in which she strongly criticized Donald and made it strikingly clear that she would not, under any circumstances, be visiting the White House should her team win the impending Women’s World Cup.
“I’m not going to the f*cking White House,” Rapinoe stated matter of factly to Eight by Eight Magazine, explaining that she seriously doubts that Trump would even run the risk of inviting them in the first place. “We’re not gonna be invited. I doubt it.”

Rapinoe has stood in solidarity against Trump with the likes of Colin Kaepernick, kneeling in protest during the National Anthem and refusing to take part in its traditional ceremonies such as singing along.
Of course, Donald is notorious for dis-inviting or simply not issuing an invitation at all to championship-winning teams who have expressed their disdain for him in the past, such as last year’s NFL championship winner, the Philadelphia Eagles, after the majority of the team promised that they would decline the invitation.
But in true Trump fashion, once the president caught wind of Rapinoe’s statement he launched an all-out attack against her on Twitter and swore that he would, in fact, invite the women’s national team should they nab the Women’s World Cup.
“Women’s soccer player, @meganrapino, just stated that she is ‘not going to the F…ing White House if we win,'” Trump’s tweet read. “Other than the NBA, which now refuses to call owners, owners (please explain that I just got Criminal Justice Reform passed, Black unemployment is at the lowest level ..in our Country’s history, and the poverty index is also best number EVER), leagues and teams love coming to the White House.”

“I am a big fan of the American Team, and Women’s Soccer, but Megan should WIN first before she TALKS! Finish the job!” he continued in a second tweet. “We haven’t yet…invited Megan or the team, but I am now inviting the TEAM, win or lose. Megan should never disrespect our Country, the White House, or our Flag, especially since so much has been done for her & the team. Be proud of the Flag that you wear. The USA is doing GREAT!”

The man really can’t stand it when his ego is challenged. Especially not by a woman. We can only hope that they take the Cup, get invited, and get the chance to scorch Trump with a big, fat “fuck you!”
