Trump Gushes Like A School Boy After Dictator Follows Him On Social Media

He's happier than a pig in mud!

Last night, Donald Trump took to Twitter to post what could be the most pathetic, strange, desperate, and hilarious tweet to this day, when he used the social media platform to essentially beg North Korea’s dictator, Kim Jong Un to meet him for a date when he lands in South Korea soon, just to “shake hands and say hello.”

Evidently, Kim Jong Un’s people responded to Trump’s Twitter plea rather quickly, accepting his offer, and that made Donald just absolutely giddy with glee.

Before Trump departed for his date with Jong Un,  he held a press conference where he took a moment to gush over the fact that Kim pays attention to him.

“He follows my Twitter,” Trump said from the stage. “I guess so because we got a call very quickly. A lot of people follow it.”

It’s a wonder everyone in the room didn’t take cover in anticipation of his head exploding from that ego.

MSNBC’s AM Joy Reid had plenty to say about Trump’s childish reaction to the impending meeting:

“What Trump really seems to want is a photo op with murderous North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Here is Trump tweeting out a plea for Kim to please come and hang out at the DMZ. Please, please come and spend time with me and take selfies.”

“Oh my god, he follows me on Twitter. Will there be friendship bracelets?” she said, mocking Trump.

Of course, this is far from the first time that Donald has become completely enamored by a dictator. We all know his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin is fucking sickening. And considering he spent the majority of the G20 Summit joking with Putin about election interference and snuggling up to the likes of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, we’re honestly not surprised that he’s dripping with excitement at the prospect of being “followed” by a dictator like Jong Un and getting the chance to touch his hand. We’re sure he’s hoping some of his tyranny will rub off.
