Donald Trump is under more pressure and criticism than ever, all thanks to his unnecessary government shutdown and his pathetic border wall idea, which is never going to get funding.
Earlier today, the president had a border security meeting, which ended in absolutely mayhem. As usual, no meeting is complete without Trump erupting at someone, and today it was CNN’s Jim Acosta due to the reporter’s video yesterday which fact checked Trump’s claims that there was even a “crisis” at the border. As the White House meeting ended, Trump called out to Acosta in front of everyone:
Good job yesterday, I appreciate your salesmanship.”
Acosta didn’t skip a beat. He fired back, “I didn’t see any invasion at the border.”
Trump responded, “Oh you didn’t? That’s because we have a wall.”
Trump looked more irritated than ever during this exchange with Acosta, signaling that the stress and demands of his job are getting to him.

Trump was referring to a series of videos Acosta had made yesterday while at the border, where the reporter had made clear that there was no danger or “crisis.” Acosta had tweeted:
We’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger. There are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence here in the McAllen, Texas, area. No sign of the national emergency that the president has been talking about. As a matter of fact, it’s pretty tranquil down here.”
I found some steel slats down on the border. But I don’t see anything resembling a national emergency situation.. at least not in the McAllen TX area of the border where Trump will be today. pic.twitter.com/KRoLdszLUu

It’s entirely understandable why Acosta’s video would infuriate Trump, because it blows up so many of his lies about what’s actually happening.
