Reports Claim Trump Privately Admitted He’s Not Very Confident In His Re-Election Campaign, Said Socialism Won’t Be “So Easy” To Beat

He's terrified behind closed doors.

When it comes to his 2020 reelection campaign, Donald Trump is a loud-mouthed prick both in public and from the safety of his smartphone on Twitter. But according to a new report, the tiny little shitbag of a man isn’t quite so confident in his message in private.

Trump is obviously building his reelection campaign on the basis of trashing the “socialists or communists.” All he seems to be able to do is launch attack after attack against every Democrat within his field of vision. But behind closed doors, Donald is experiencing a lot more trepidation about the effectiveness of his campaign than he’s letting on.

Evidently, according to four different Republican sources close to the president, Trump has admitted to friends, family, and donors several times over this past year that running on the general election campaign of defeating “socialism” may not turn out to be “so easy” given the recent uptick in the popularity of the political ideology.

One source that that was in the room with Donald at a private where he spoke on the topic with donors says that Trump told his guests that even though “a lot of people think it’ll be easy to beat [in 2020],” the “truth is, it might not be so easy.”

The source close to the matter claims the president said, “you can have someone who loves Trump, but many people love free stuff, too.”

Donald also warned that a candidate that tells voters, especially the young demographic, that they will wipe out all their debt as president, “that’s a tough one” to beat.

Blaze TV host and Trump family friend Eric Bolling stated, “I have discussed the popularity of the democratic socialists’ message, i.e. Sanders and [Elizabeth] Warren, with President Trump on more than one occasion and in person. Specifically the idea of excusing debt and giving away, [as Trump says], ‘free stuff’ becoming more and more popular among younger voters.”

Evidently Trump made these comments to Bolling as recently as mid-2019. “I feel it was more an observation than a re-election concern [of the president’s],” he explained. “I feel the discussion was more of a tamping-down of expectations than any serious concern about winning re-election in 2020. It’s politics. Just look to Joe Biden who recently suggested Iowa isn’t a must-win state.”

Of course, Trump’s private concerns have done nothing to prevent him from saying stupid shit in public such as this:

“Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country. America was founded on liberty and independence—not government coercion, domination, and control…Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country.”

Good luck with that, Donnie. Americans want what they’ve paid for and they’re DAMN tired of lining your pockets.
