If Donald Trump thought that he would be honored for Presidents Day, he had another thing coming and got a very harsh reality check. Throughout the country, people took to the streets to protest against the president and his pathetic, fake national emergency declaration.
All day today, demonstrators marched all over the country, sporting signs that said things like “Trump is the emergency.” Nonprofit group MoveOn estimated that there were 260 rallies across 48 states protesting against Trump! The organization’s website stated that protests were “against Trump’s fake crisis and racist deportation force and to stand with immigrant, Muslim, and Black and brown communities to stop Trump’s dangerous and illegal power grab.” The site also said:
Trump has declared a #FakeNationalEmergency — an illegal power grab from an unhinged man to push his racist, dangerous policies.”
As Trump was headed back to the White House today after yet another golfing vacation, you can only imagine how devastating it was for the president to realize that he was being protested against on a holiday that is supposed to honor the Commander in Chief.

Just a quick glance on Twitter shows just how nationwide these protests were, and how badly Trump has pissed the entire country off:
