If any of the royal family have reason to be upset with Donald Trump during this visit — apart from over the years-old tweet calling on the Duchess of Cambridge to show her breasts — it’s definitely the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. In the days before the Trump departed for London, the President gave an interview in which he called Meghan “nasty” over her private criticism of him, only to deny both in an official White House statement and on his Twitter account having said it at all, and despite it being on a widely-seen video.
But the royal family being the consummate hosts they are, if they were annoyed or offended, they certainly didn’t make a big deal of it.
Prince Harry did, however, limit his time visiting with the Trump to the barest minimum, and what time he did spend around them was clearly not pleasant, judging by his facial expressions and the fact that he scarcely had entered the room before leaving quickly.
Prince Harry, who was also at the private lunch, noticeably hung back. He walked in with Ivanka (was he supposed to show her round the exhibition?? or maybe they sat next to each other at lunch) and then drifted off to talk to the Lord Chamberlain (the Earl Peel). pic.twitter.com/NLyfNvkZx6

To be perfectly honest, for me, it wouldn’t even necessarily be meeting the Trump family all together that was abhorrent — it would specifically be Ivanka, who is by far the most disingenuous of the clan. Her pretty face hides an ugly spirit, and the earnest nature of the sons of Princess Diana and their wives is at heavy odds with such a two-faced person.
That encounter took place as the Trumps were being shown the Royal Collection, and it seems that Harry left just in time to save himself the cringe factor of watching Donald Trump forget the gift he’d given his grandmother the Queen just last year:
Trump was also shown the pewter horse that he’d given the Queen last year in his visit to Windsor. He was asked if he recognised it and he said “no”! Melania came to his rescue and said “I think we gave that to the Queen”. pic.twitter.com/SaIXvhUb7P

Honestly, how can ANYONE stand to be around them?
