Pence Gave Americans His “Number One” Advice: “Spend More Time On Your Knees Than On The Internet”

Well, we know what's on his mind.

For someone with such a deep-seated hatred of homosexuals, Mike Pence sure does know how to really stick his foot in his mouth and give us all one hell of a laugh at his expense.

Mike Pence and his wife have been very vocal about their “position” on gay rights (i.e. their opinion that gays don’t deserve rights). In the past, he has gone so far as to say that gay couples signal “societal collapse,” blatantly opposed laws that would prohibit discrimination against members of the LGBTQ+ community, opposed the appeal of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, rejected the Obama administration’s transgender bathroom policies, and tons of other super-not-nice moves to prove that he has none of that love that Jesus talked so much about for the LGBTQ+ community.

And if you were thinking that maybe his wife wasn’t such a super huge, colossal shitbag, think again. Because since Pence has taken his position of parrot to the United States, his wife has taken a job teaching at a school that strictly prohibits LGBTQ+ students and staff.

According to the Washington Times, Pence recently partook in a Q&A with the conservative group Alliance Defending Freedom when he decided to touch on the subject of the backlash he and his wife received after she chose to accept such a controversial, hate-fueled job.

Of course, being the “Godly” man that he is (cue the eye roll now), Pence did go out of his way to proclaim that “Forgiveness is a great gift” in regards to those who criticize him and his wife.

And then he went on to give the group his best piece of advice for dealing with criticism, and your humor-fuel for the evening — “Spend more time on your knees than on the internet.”

Ooooooohhhhh, there’s just so much we could do with that!

And Twitter users all across the nation did not disappoint:

And, just as a humorous little reminder, this is far from the first time Pence has popped off with something less-than-hetero:

What’s going on in that subconscious of yours, Mike?
