New Video Of Mike Pence Emerges, Goes Against Trump, Calls His Actions “A Profound Mistake”

Trump will HATE to see this!

Donald Trump stated that he would officially be declaring a national emergency over his lack of funding for a border wall. This move has made even Republicans sick to their stomachs, and many have spoken out against the president. But one of the people Trump likely least expected to disagree with him just happens to be his own Vice President, Mike Pence.

An old video of Pence has just resurfaced thanks to conservative pundit Bill Kristol. The video, which is from 2014, features the former Indiana Governor and current Vice President bashing then-president Barack Obama’s use of executive powers on immigration policy. In the video, Pence says:

I think it would be a profound mistake for the President of the United States to overturn American immigration law with the stroke of a pen. Issues of this magnitude should always be resolved with the consent of the governed. Signing an executive order, giving a speech, barnstorming around the country defending that executive order is not leadership. I would implore the president to reconsider this path and to demonstrate the kind of leadership that the American people long to see. And that this administration would sit down with this newly-minted Republican Congress and find genuine common ground on border security. There’s a series of piece by piece reforms that I believe that could be advanced in this Congress that would be in the longterm interest of the American people on this issue.”

That video could not have come up at a worse time for Trump, while he is currently using what many experts are calling a “gross abuse of power” to force funding for the racist border wall that almost no one wants. The fact that a major conservative like Bill Kristol was the one to post this video to bash Trump perfectly demonstrates just how big of a mistake this is for Trump. You can watch the video below:
