Many people, both in the United States and around the world operate under the assumption that Donald Trump hates immigrants. And at first glance, it’s not an invalid assumption.
Through his presidency, he has enacted racist travel bans against anyone he and his administration have deemed “Muslim.” He has taken legal asylum seekers at our southern border, separated them from their children and thrown them in cages for the foreseeable future. Each and every day his administration is pushing for harsher, more inhumane, and crueler policies against Hispanic immigrants — including revoking green cards for those that are on any form of government assistance and threatening to send children with life-threatening health issues back to their home country, and ultimately, their death.
But Donald Trump does not hate immigrants. Donald Trump hates brown people — and cruel immigration policies are merely his way of carrying out that hatred.
This fact can be proven, indisputably, with just a quick look at Donald’s own wife, Melania.
Melania Trump, formerly Melanija Knavs, is an immigrant to this country. She was born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia in 1970. She immigrated to the US on a visitor visa in August of 1996 and obtained a work visa in October of the same year. She obtained an Einstein visa and became a permanent resident in 2001.
But to add fuel to that flame, it seems as though Melania isn’t even a “legal” immigrant.
The Einstein visa (EB-1 visa) that Melania Trump obtained for permanent residency in the US is a visa reserved for and granted to three different types of people:
“Those with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics which has been demonstrated by sustained national or international acclaim and whose achievements have been recognized in the field through extensive documentation.”
“Outstanding professors and researchers” who “are recognized internationally for their outstanding academic achievements in a particular field,” who must also have “at least three years’ experience in teaching or research in that academic area and enter the U.S. in a tenure or tenure track teaching or comparable research position at a university or other institution of higher education,” plus other conditions.
“‘Some executives and managers of foreign companies who are transferred to the US’ who need to have been employed, during the last three years, for at least one year outside of the US in a managerial position in the same company that is going to employ them in the US or in a related company.”
Now, Melania has long claimed that she received a degree in design and architecture at an unspecified university in her home country — it was even included in her bio on her personal site as recently as July. However, it’s looking like she’s picked up on her husband’s dirty lying habits because that’s simply not true.
Questions surrounding Melania’s education began to swirl earlier this year and it was ultimately pretty much debunked after a former professor admitted that she never finished his course and there’s no evidence of her research or her diploma at the University of Ljubljana.
Apparently the evidence, or rather the lack thereof, was enough to spur Melania into action. But it wasn’t an apology or a confession that she offered. She just simply took down the whole damn website and changed the wording on her hubby’s site to say that she “paused her studies to advance her modeling career in Milan and Paris.”
Now, back to the beginning. If Donald Trump hated immigrants, his wife’s ass would be on the first plane, train, or boat back to Slovenia because she’s a lying ass liar and by all technicalities, she’s here illegally.
So I reiterate — Trump doesn’t hate immigrants. He just hates brown people. That is all. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
