If there are two things that Donald Trump and his corrupt administration hate the most (besides minorities, of course), it’s the truth and having their own comments used against them. Every time they get called out for the terrible things they say, Trump’s team can barely keep it together.
Earlier today, White House counselor and Trump mouthpiece Kellyanne Conway lost her temper in an interview with CNN’s Alisyn Camerota after she got exposed for her comments about Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser, Christine Ford, being a pawn for the Democratic Party.
As Camerota and Conway discussed Ford and the possibility that she may testify next week, Conway literally said she was worried about Democrats using Ford to stop Kavanaugh’s nomination — and then threw a fit and denied it when Camerota called her out on it. Conway’s exact words were:
I hope this woman is not being used by the Democrats because that is, of course, who breached her confidentiality from the beginning. She asked to remain anonymous.”
Camerota brought up the fact that Ford had come to the Washington Post with her allegations against Kavanaugh as early as June — before Trump even nominated Kavanaugh. Camerota asked:
The fact that she came forward to the Washington Post in June, on a tip line, what makes you think that she’s some sort of stooge for the Democrats?”
Furious that she had just been fact-checked and called out for saying something offensive at the same time, Conway lost her cool and fired back:
No, I didn’t ever say she’s a stooge for the Democrats! Don’t ever attribute that to me!”
Conway then said Ford’s accusations were a Democratic conspiracy to ruin Trump and his Supreme Court nominee. She said:
Her lawyers, as you know, were headlining a fundraising for a United States senator who will be voting on Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. So I think in the interest of CNN’s constant quest for transparency, accountability, truth truth, let’s put it all out there.”
