Rapper Kanye West, or better known as “Ye” more recently, truly damaged his reputation once he started being buddies with Donald Trump, insisting that slavery and racism were choices, and proudly flaunting his Make America Great Again hat. Strange rants about how he and The Donald share “dragon energy” also haven’t helped repair West’s standing as a credible artist, and the rapper only seems to be making things worse.
Last night, West performed on Saturday Night Live and it turned into a complete disaster as he used his performance as an opportunity to promote Trump — which no one in the cast of SNL or the audience appreciated. Wearing his MAGA hat, West gave a pro-Trump lecture after his final performance was cut off — and he got quite the reaction from the crowd. Proving that he is still completely oblivious to Trump’s true motives, part of West’s speech included statements like:
There’s so many times I talk to, like, a white person about this and they say, ‘How could you like Trump? He’s racist.’ Well, uh, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”
As West rambled on in an unhinged rant about how “welfare” was a conspiracy created by the Democrats and praised Trump relentlessly, the audience booed him enough to make West actually unravel further, muttering strange statements about how he was putting his “Superman” cape on so the audience’s complaints couldn’t hurt him.

One thing is for sure: West doesn’t seem to know he’s killing his career by continuing to stump for Trump.
