As we’re all aware now, yet another tragedy struck our country again as a shooter opened fire on the East Side of El Paso, Texas today. So far, police are stating that shots were reported from both a WalMart store as well as the Cielo Vista Mall next door but as of right now they are unsure of where exactly the shots originated or the shooting took place. So far, reports are indicating that “several” people have been killed and at least 22 injured.
Of course, the city of El Paso responded immediately with throngs of emergency personnel, including EMTs, firefighters, and police officers to catch the suspect/s and offer assistance to those affected by the catastrophe.
However, President Donald Trump wasn’t near as quick to even offer so much as condolences, and he certainly didn’t linger on it long at all.
Trump did finally respond to the shooting, on Twitter of course, with a tweet that read, “Terrible shootings in ElPaso, Texas. Reports are very bad, many killed. Working with State and Local authorities, and Law Enforcement. Spoke to Governor to pledge total support of Federal Government. God be with you all!” — A full three hours after the shooting.

And then 15 minutes later, he was back to tweeting about complete and utter bullshit in the form of encouragement for a Trump-supporting MMA fighter.
Fight hard tonight Colby. You are a real Champ! #MAGA https://t.co/dj3JlWQu7i

If you thought that maybe he’d get back to the shooting after his little sidetrack there, you’d be wrong. Because not 15 minutes after that, he retweeted some nonsense that someone said about him six months ago.
Pastor Scott, a great guy – and tough! https://t.co/tu0u3AxQqp

So, at this point, evidently, someone’s 6-month-old praise for him is more important than the dozens of lives that were lost or still hang in the balance due to yet another shooting that Trump has absolutely no intentions of doing a damn thing about.
The saddest part? We’re not even the slightest bit surprised.
