For some reason, Fox News tweeted out what’s turned out to be easily one of the most idiotic things they’ve ever posted to social media this morning, asking the general public to weigh in in exactly why Americans are so reticent to describe themselves as being “proud” of where they’re from.

Now, it could be that Fox just hasn’t figured out that regular non-Fox viewers get to see this as well since it’s on Twitter. It could possibly be that they’re in such a bubble, they expected people to answer “illegal immigrants” or “disrespecting the President” or some nonsense. I think you know, however, that that’s not what happened.

As you can see, Americans had plenty of justification for why we shouldn’t be “extremely proud” to be from this country, and it starts with the fact that the Trump administration is turning this country into something to be ashamed of.
