Even Fox News is concerned about what the new developments mean for the president.

Something strange is going on at Fox News. Over the last few days, the network (which has been the only mainstream network on Donald Trump’s side) has become increasingly critical of the president and has even spoken against him. We saw this yesterday when Fox News stood with CNN after the White House banned one of the network’s reporters from a press conference. Today, Fox News is continuing that critical tone.

Last night, news broke that Michael Cohen exposed Trump for knowing in advance about the Trump Tower meeting between his son, Donald Trump Jr., and the Russians. Today, Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera went on-air on Fox & Friends to say that this “could be collusion.” And because Fox & Friends is the president’s favorite show, we all know he was watching. Rivera told Fox News host Brian Kilmeade:

I think it is a big deal. Michael Cohen represents a significant legal threat to the president. We all have one key person we tell all of our life story to, in President Trump’s case he trusted Michael Cohen, he was his fixer for many years and now I think he has been cut from the Trump team and he’s feeling reckless and he’s even able to do low-down and dirty things like release that tape — that secret tape.”

Rivera said the secret tape about paying “cash” to a model Trump had an affair with, was “very, very significant” as shows America “they’re willing to do that they’re willing to do almost anything.”

Rivera also stated that Trump’s son had the most to lose in the Mueller probe, because he had “testified to Congress under oath that the president did not know of the meeting” — a claim that Cohen just blew up. Rivera explained:

Let’s say [Trump] knew of the meeting and approved of the meeting and then got some information or something else the value from the meeting that he used against Hillary Clinton, that could be collusion. Whether or not it’s illegal, it might be a campaign finance violation, for example, but you can see in the broadness of the scope of possibilities, Michael Cohen does represent, for all his sleaziness, a significant threat to the president.”

Of course, Trump’s tweets serve as a constant indication of how guilty he is. This morning, Trump was seen flipping out on Twitter, making himself look more guilty with an insane amount of defensiveness:
