Donald Trump’s presidency has been a first for America in so many ways. We’ve never seen a president be betrayed or cautioned against on such a large scale, by his own team. The fact that Trump’s own people will flip on him in an instant or try to warn America speaks volumes for the kind of person the President of the United States is. We should have listened to them when we had a chance.
Those who had worked with Trump over several years have been speaking out — one of them being former Trump Organization executive Barbara Res. Res had worked in the Trump Organization for 18 years and in an interview with MSNBC today, Res called Trump and his team out for the lies they’d been telling about the Russia investigation. In a bombshell interview, Res blew up any cover Trump had been trying to use to save his own a** and claim that he had no knowledge of the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting. Res said:
Based on my experience, I think it’s not true. I can’t imagine any circumstance in which Donald Trump would not know about something that important being planned in a meeting. In my experience we often, even meetings that we were planning to attend, that we were attending because other people were not high enough for Donald to attend, we would discuss them beforehand. He often told us what to say, what to ask.”

She’s exactly right. It’s absolutely ridiculous to think that Trump had no knowledge about the meeting with the Russians, especially since his own son and many members of his inner circle were so heavily involved. It’s a ludicrous lie, and Res was spot on in pointing out how insane it is.
