Like father, like son, they say, and we’re not sure it gets any more true than between President Trump and his eldest son Don Junior. From impossibly bad hair to an inflated sense of self, from lying about anything and everything to cheating on their wives, no son has ever emulated his father quite like Trump Junior.
That’s why it was no surprise to see the disgusting clip that Junior retweeted on his Twitter account poking fun at CNN reporter Jim Acosta in a violent and disgusting way. Much like the famous “professional wrestling” video that Trump tweeted in 2017 that depicted a wrestler with the CNN logo superimposed over his face getting trounced in the ring, Trump Junior’s taste in anti-CNN videos is violent as well.
Reaching deep into the bag of right-wing losers who like to appeal to the baser instincts of the base, Junior retweeted Arthur Schwartz, the former publicist for Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci, after Schwartz posted a video depicting Jim Acosta being run over by a fast-moving golf cart:

Junior’s post followed a day of Jim Acosta touring the border at the same time as the President was doing so, periodically tweeting videos of himself in areas that, despite Trump’s dire warnings about a crisis of thousands upon thousands of drug dealers, human traffickers, gang members, and assorted villains storming the border, seemed relatively serene. Acosta wrapped up his tour, in fact, with a tweet showing a scene on the Rio Grande — the river that migrants have historically crossed as the main impediment to entry — where there was no wall, no immigrants running past, and a shuffleboard deck:
Last video of the day. Found a beautiful spot on the Rio Grande where there is no wall. No fence. Just the river. Oh and there’s shuffleboard. pic.twitter.com/AGJioY7Bge
