Vice President Mike Pence is little more than a brainless, spineless, Trump drone who perfectly mimics his master at every given opportunity, with no real opinions or passions of his own other than a burning hatred towards homosexuals — and he does it all with a big, stupid smile on his face. Even when Donald is absolutely humiliating him.
The best part of it all, though, is that in Trump’s humiliation of his brown-nosing sycophant, others are able to find a plethora of secondary ways to humiliate the vice president. And that’s precisely what happened when Pence sat down with CNN’s Jake Tapper this morning.
To kick things off, Tapper made a fool of the VP when he tried to completely deny the evidence of climate change, like everyone in this administration does. After some back and forth between himself and the host, Pence ultimately stated that “America has the cleanest air and water in the world. We’ll continue to use market forces…”
And Tapper actually laughed in his face, responding, “That’s not true. We don’t have the cleanest air and water in the world. We don’t. You get back to me with some statistics that show it.”
But that wasn’t even the best part of this interview. The richest of the rich came at the very end of the interview when Tapper delivered his final blow by playing audio of Donald Trump refusing to endorse Pence in 2024, were he to run for president — and all the while, Mike had a wildly uncomfortable look on his face, giggling nervously.
“What was your reaction when the president said that?” the host asked the VP when the audio finished up.
“You know, it is the greatest honor of my life to serve as vice president to this president and I’m incredibly honored that he asked me to run with him again in 2020,” Pence replied with a very awkward half-smile.
“And what I can tell you is that statement reflects and I reflect the fact that the only election he and are focused on is 2020,” he concluded, ultimately dogging the fact that Donald Trump isn’t going to endorse anyone but himself. Even his most favorite minion.
I don’t know about you folks, but there’s nothing I love more on a Sunday morning than watching a member of that crack-shit administration getting absolutely humiliated. Puts a smile on my face.
