It’s pretty clear that the only people Donald Trump has any interest cozying up to are people that kiss his ass, call him wonderful and dictators whom he thinks he can teach him how to overthrow the American government. He made that fairly clear with his behavior at the recent G20 Summit in Japan when he avoided shaking hand’s with their Prime Minister and insulted Spain’s Prime Minister but cracked jokes with Putin, and snuggled up to the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
But just in case that wasn’t enough to convince you of where Donald’s loyalty and admiration lies, he actually said as much during a press conference before he left the Summit, in which he and CNN’s Jim Acosta had a few words.
During the press conference, Acosta confronted America’s “president” in regards to his blatant coziness with international dictators: “What is it with your coziness with some of the dictators and autocrats at these summits?”
Trump replied to Acosta’s question in front of a room full of the media, “I get along with everybody, except you people… I get along with (Russian) President (Vladimir) Putin, I get along with Mohammed (bin Salman) from Saudi Arabia.”
Donald also took the opportunity to brag about his chummy relationship with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, touting the fact that the tyrant “follows his Twitter” because Jong Un’s people replied so quickly to Donald’s invitation for a date at the border between North and South Korea when he landed in South Korea after the Summit.
We can’t even describe how embarrassing it is to have the leader of our nation stand in front of the press and dozens of his fellow world leaders and bash our media while simultaneously praising the likes of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.
People of America, the man cannot make it any more clear where his loyalty lies. It is high time to pay attention.
