Donald Trump and the Republican Party have given Americans plenty to think about on their way to the voting booths this November — and one demographic specifically needs to take this election seriously.
The attacks and injustices that have been brought on women over the last two years have been unprecedented. Hopefully, all the white women who voted for Trump and his GOP buddies in 2016 have been paying attention and intend to use their voting power differently this time. Because every time we turn around, there is yet another woman speaking out against Trump and other conservative men who have wronged them.
Recently, a BBC presenter stated that she felt sick to her stomach on camera while recalling an experience she’d had with Trump right before having to interview him. BBC’s Steph McGovern reported during panel show “Have I Got News For You” that:
He was creepy, man.”
McGovern stated that before their 2012 interview, Trump said that he would “leave the room” to “make myself look better” because she was “so beautiful.” He said:
Because if we do this interview now, everyone is just going to be staring at you and not listening to me.”
McGovern actually pretended to vomit at the memory of the encounter. McGovern pointed out his sexism and said:
Because he thought, as a female journalist, that was the best thing to say to me rather than: ‘Oh, I watched your piece on mobile phone insurance last week.'”
Absolutely disgusting. Imagine having to sit down with him for an entire interview after experiencing that. McGovern also said she responded to Trump and said:
Aye love, I’ve heard better lines than that down [at] Club Bongo.”

McGovern is far from the only professional that has had these kinds of experiences with Trump, and women really need to think about whether or not this is the behavior they want to endorse when they vote in the midterms.
