As I’m sure you’re well aware, Donald Trump had a heaping helping of attacks against the media this morning with his breakfast — which, quite frankly, isn’t unusual for him. This time, the victim of his outrage was MSNBC host Joy Reid who he pretended to have never heard of and bashed her as “talentless” — a typical insult that Donald regularly uses against powerful women (especially those of color) when they intimidate him.

Never met her, she knows ZERO about me, has NO talent, and truly doesn’t have the ‘it’ factor needed for success in showbiz,” Trump’s hate tweet read. “Had a bad reputation, and now works for the Comcast/NBC losers making up phony stories about me. Low Ratings. Fake News!”

But while Trump is certainly intimidated by Reid, and is displaying that fact for all the public to see through his random Twitter attacks, the MSNBC host is striking back at the president to ensure he knows that intimidation is strictly one-sided.
Reid hit back at Donald today during a segment on her show in which she outlined the long list of impeachable offenses Trump has committed since taking office.
She was sure to point out that there is certainly no shortage of reasons for Donald to be kicked out of the White House and instead be lodged in a prison cell somewhere — from the blatant obstruction of justice that was outlined in former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report to the countless times that Trump has personally profited off his position as president of the United States — Democrats just need to pick one and run with it.
“Democrats who already favor impeachment have a grab bag of potentially impeachment offenses to choose from,” the MSNBC host began. “There’s the obstruction of justice that was laid out clearly in the Mueller report, trump’s pattern of self-enrichment using the office of the presidency, his status as the unindicted co-conspirator in the hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels, which are part of the reason his former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen sits in prison to this day.”
“The Trump administration defying congressional subpoenas, his dangling of pardons, and his racist language, like those that experts have said help incite white nationalist violence, and also the ‘Go back’ comments he tweeted at four freshman Democrats who are all U.S. Citizens, remarks listed by Texas congressman Al green, an impeachment supporter, as grounds for impeaching Trump,” she continued. “We are now 415 days away from the 2020 election, meaning there are now 415 days left for Democrats to act on impeachment, rather than relying on the possibility that Trump will be removed from office by losing the election. Time is running out, and the drumbeat of impeachment in Nancy Pelosi’s divided caucus is getting louder.”
Seems she wants Trump to know that she is far from scared or even affected by his little Twitter tantrums.
