If there’s anything bigger than Trump’s waistline, it’s damn sure that ego of his. The man absolutely cannot stand it if anything of any importance takes place without him being the center of attention. In fact, he is so selfish and egotistical, that he is completely hijacking Washington D.C.’s traditional Fourth of July celebration in an attempt to make it completely about him and nothing else.
The spokesman for the National Park Service’s Washington sites, Mike Litterst told the Washington Examiner, “We’re gearing up for what I think we can safely say without hyperbole is going to be the biggest fireworks show that D.C. has seen.”
But if President Trump has his way with things, that grand celebration will be completely ruined for thousands of D.C. residents and tourist.
Donald is attempting to completely remake the traditional Independence Day celebration with a speech at the Lincoln Memorial and flyovers of military jets and Air Force One. But in the process of making the entire holiday about himself, Trump has unsurprisingly left thousands of people who were looking forward to the spectacular, traditional display put on by D.C. sorely disappointed.
Donald’s very own beloved Fox News has reported that, due to Trump’s hijacking of the event, organizers were forced to move the location of the fireworks display from his traditional site at the National Mall to the Tidal Basin — which will ultimately result in 30 to 40 percent of of the display being obscured from the Capitol Building.
