Jared Kushner’s week continues to get worse. In just a matter of days, Jared Kushner has been justifiably under the microscope as Donald Trump pushed Chief of Staff John Kelly for a high-level security clearance despite glaring reservations being expressed by the intelligence community. Even worse, the Trump Administration has rejected Representative Elijah Cummings request for information about how the White House granted security clearances in the first place.

White House counsel Pat A. Cipollone responded with:

[The] White House’s history of ongoing cooperation is well documented.”

Which is a load of garbage as the White House has previously indicated that Trump would be willing to block the Mueller report, which, to some legal scholars, reeks of obstruction of justice. The White House council’s response is deceitful at best as they probably understand the potential legal ramifications if it is shown that they recklessly gave Jared Kushner a high-level security clearance.

Incidentally, it is commonly known that Kushner has shady ties to the Saudi Government involving the Trump Organization and a desire to open up Saudi to the world. That is, a Saudi government that mutilated a journalist and tortured an American Citizen. Trump’s warm embrace of Saudi Arabia is incredibly disappointing as the country is well known for human right’s abuses and treating women akin to pieces of property. Right after Trump’s inauguration, he chose to travel to Saudi and embrace the corrupt monarchy.

Jared Kushner is in boiling hot water and the refusal on behalf of the White House to release the security clearance documents should raise major red flags. The question is, how much longer are the American people going to put up with the rampant corruption in the Trump administration? I mean, it can be argued that the Trump administration may go down as the most corrupt in American history, and that is nothing to be proud of.
