If you’ve looked at Trump’s Twitter today, you’ll notice that the president is having a colossal meltdown. It hadn’t even hit noon yet and Trump had already fired off around a dozen unhinged tweets, each more ridiculous than the last. It’s like America is watching his downfall in real time.

Trump was set off by a New York Times report that was published yesterday, which stated that the FBI had opened an investigation into whether he’d been working for Russia. The Times reported:

In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests.”

That’s just insane. This is probably a big turning point for Trump — and it seems as though he knows it.
