It’s looking like there may be trouble in paradise for the Conway household. As I’m sure you already know, there’s been one hell of a Twitter feud going on between Donald Trump and George Conway lately. Ironically enough, George Conway is a conservative attorney and husband to none other than Trump’s political consultant, Kellyanne Conway.
Over the last several days, President Trump and George Conway have been firing Twitter insults back and forth at each other — with Conway publicly questioning Donald’s mental health (But hey, aren’t we all?) and Trump firing back by calling George a “loser.”
As of this morning, it looks like Kellyanne has publically pledged her allegiance, and we’re betting that her husband isn’t going to be too happy with her alliance.
Kellyanne went on the Fox Business Network this morning and publicly threw her husband under the bus. In the segment, Conway stated, “My husband also has been very critical of the president publicly, which is unlike him just because he’s traditionally been a very private person. In 2016, which was known as the year of the tweet, George Conway sent exactly zero tweets. So this is new.”
She went on to add, “Also what is new is not supporting the agenda of the president and my work there. Because when George took himself out of contention for a top job in the Department of Justice, almost two years ago now, he put out a public statement that many in the media refuse to cover now, which is we’ve decided as a family it’s not the right time for both of us to have big jobs in the federal government.”
Kellyanne also claimed that while George supposedly agreed to “stay in the private sector,” that he also promised his wife that he’d “continue to support the president, the work of the administration, and his quote, wonderful wife.”
She continued to berate and chastise her husband, going on and on about how disappointing his behavior is — as if he’s the one acting like a petulant child when it comes down between him and POTUS. She went on to point out that her husband has no power and “can’t act on those tweets in any way.”
Kellyanne bizarrely wrapped things up with, “I don’t know when the feminists are going to write this story about the unusual situation of a man getting power through his wife. But that’s what we have here.”
So, there you have it. Kellyanne Conway just publicly shamed, abused, and gaslighted her husband in an attempt to keep her job worrying about photographic microwaves and made up massacres. I just wonder when he’ll file for divorce.
