Famous Professor Who’s Been Right Since 1984, Predicts Mueller Investigation Will “Shock The Country”

If this guy is right, the movie they make about this will be a blockbuster.

Allan Lichtman, who we have written about here at DC Tribune in the past due to his impeccable record regarding presidential politics and the predictions and trends surrounding them, is back with a new prognostication and it doesn’t bode well for Donald Trump.

Much like we’ve seen his many aides warning that Trump should be very worried, and seen even his own lawyer concerned that he might strike some sort of deal and simply resign, it seems as though there’s good reason to believe that the report forthcoming from Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation — expected to wrap up in the very near term — will produce bombshells about the Trump presidency unlike anything America has ever seen.

In fact, Lichtman says, the evidence produced will like put even Republicans in a position where they will be forced to impeach Trump. He sat down with MSNBC’s Morning Joe:

[The Trump/Russia scandal is] a conspiracy. I believe we have the tip of the iceberg of what the special counsel knows about the relationship between Trump and the Trump team and the Russians. There’s a fair chance that the reason they were covering up all of those calls from then to be national security adviser with the Russians was to cover up a possible quid pro quo, the Russians will help us and in turn, we’ll ease those sanctions. Why else make those calls and why else lie about them?”

More importantly, however, the professor from American University told the hosts that it may not just be collusion or conspiracy or even obstruction of justice that does Trump in:

I think Mueller — and this is my prediction — is going to come up with findings that are going to shock the country, not only involve conspiracy with Russia but could involve serious financial crimes.”

That final part is something that multiple experts have also predicted — that somehow Trump will be tied to money laundering for the Russians. And in each of the cases of his aides who have either pleaded guilty or been convicted even without a guilty plea, those officials had been connected to financial crimes as well, rather than simply conspiratorial intrigue.

Time will tell — and from the sounds of it, Trump doesn’t have much time left at all.
