If there are two things that would describe Donald Trump to a T, it’s “lazy” and “attention hog.” Sometimes, he gets lucky enough to combine those two characteristics of himself — and he wasted no time is utilizing the death of George H.W. Bush to do just that.
A few months ago, the former president, George H.W. Bush passed away. As we reported then, Trump was not invited to speak at the ceremony — which we imagine really made his feelgoods feel bad. So, since he wasn’t allowed to stand in front of a congregation of people mourning the loss of their loved one and make a complete ass out of himself, he decided to do it in a different way — by meeting with the Bush family privately and employing a whole damn motorcade to do so.
Now, if you weren’t already aware, the Bush family was staying at the Blair House, also known as the President’s Guest House. It’s a huge series of connected townhomes that are generally used to house diplomats and dignitaries and all-in-all it’s even bigger than the White House itself. But the important part here is the fact that the Blair House is literally right across the street from the White House — seriously, within a few hundred yards of the White House lawn.
That’s why everyone found is extra peculiar that Trump would round up an entire motorcade and hop in his presidential limo just to pay a visit to the Bush family… right across the damn street.

It left folks wondering what on earth Donald’s motives for the huge show really were. Is he really that big of an attention hog? Or really just that lazy? Or is there ultimately something more to this? Perhaps his presidential duties and the weight of unanimous hate from an entire country is finally starting to weigh on his health.
