Trump’s Secretary Of Commerce Takes To Twitter To Dispute Claims After New Report Accuses Him Of Falling Asleep During Meetings

Donald Trump’s administration has been a crumbling mess of a dumpster fire since day one. The moment he took office, he essentially cleaned house of everyone that was or ever had been connected to the Obama administration and he has yet to get shit his shit back together. Every time you turn around it seems that someone is being terminated for some arbitrary Trump reason, most likely they hurt his feelings or refused to abide by his horrendous policies, or someone is jumping ship in hopes that they’ve gotten out from underneath the Trump name soon enough to avoid working in a fast-food drive-thru for the rest of their life.

For God’s sake, the majority of officials within Donald’s administration have “acting” attached to the beginning of their job title because everyone knows it’s not going to last long enough to make it a permanent position.

But according to a new report from Politico, even the branches of Donald’s administration that still have semi-permanent employees aren’t doing so hot.

Politico reports that Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross’ department has decayed into purposeless disarray due to his complete disconnection to its inner workings as well as his proclivity toward napping during meetings.

Politico writes that Ross avoids regular meetings with senior commerce staffers “because he tends to fall asleep in meetings.”

“There’s a small window where [Ross] is able to focus and pay attention and not fall asleep,” a former outside advisor told the news publication. So employees of the department are forced to carefully choose the schedule for meetings or events in which Ross would be expected to participate.

“He’s sort of seen as kind of irrelevant,” stated one Politico source. “The morale is very low there because there’s not a lot of confidence in the secretary. He’s not respected in the building.”

According to the report, officials don’t even want Wilbur appearing at congressional Oversight hearings anymore, with one source close to the matter stating, “there’s a great deal of effort to shield him from testifying ever again.”

Of course, as soon as Ross saw the report making its rounds on social media he quickly jumped to his Twitter account to dispute the claims, blaming it on “disgruntled former employees”:

But don’t worry, Donald Trump isn’t miffed at his Secretary of Commerce for being a shitty Secretary of Commerce. The only beef Donald has with Ross is the fact that Wilbur dared to challenge him on his racist census question.
